In what will be a once-in-a-lifetime event, the Space Shuttle Enterprise will make a low-altitude flyover of New York City atop the Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft. The April 23rd flyover has been cancelled due to unfavorable weather and is being rescheduled by NASA. The flight will take place along the Hudson River on New York’s West Side.
The Space Shuttle Enterprise is being flown to New York’s JFK airport from it’s previous home in Washington D.C. Enterprise and will be put on display at the Intrepid Air and Space Museum in Manhattan.

According to the Intrepid Air and Space Museum, the New York City Space Shuttle flyover has been rescheduled for April 25 after 10:00am.
